I understand why people think there's a ghostwriter. I don't. This series is a cash cow for the author and the publisher. Since the series has a following there is no reason for the story to make sense or be interesting. People, people, people just put your money down.This installment ups the stupid factor beyond belief. Who pays for these five star reviews? The publisher? The author? Is it family, friends, employees who review this series?First the author goes back to the child rape /murder. This is where the author has a malnourished, forty pound child who spends all her time curled in a ball; murder a full grown man with one blow from a dull paring knife in the dark.So if the reader can swallow that the author continues the stupidity, lack of imagination and complete disregard of logic.In a previous installment the author wrote how the murdered rapist had stolen money and drugs from the bad guy. In this installment the reader is led to believe the bad guy wants to do business with the rapist. This goes against everything previously written about the very bad man. Stealing from the very bad man would lead to the rapist's execution per the author.Then the reader must believe that the alphabet agency with enough evidence to put the rapist murdered guy in jail for a very long time doesn't pick him up and drain him for any information he probably doesn't have. The alphabet agency doesn't turn him to get more information with threat of prison. After all, jailed felons are notorious for their kindness to child molesters.I like a good fantasy. This doesn't come close. There are authors and editors who use their imaginations and time to write a decent book worth the asking price. This isn't one of them.
